Late night ER sewing...

My mom was in a car wreck a week ago, but never went to the doctor because she felt okay. Not so much anymore.

So last night around 7pm I got the call that she had been to the doctor earlier in the day for an x-ray. Everything seemed fine and they sent her home. Next thing she knows she is getting a call saying she had a fracture in her neck.

Well one thing led to another and I was sitting in the ER with a box full of Denyse Schmidt Flea Market Fancy squares, paper hexagons, and a lot of time on my hands. Lets just say by 1am I am more than half way finished with a project that I thought would take me a year to get through. Mixed blessing?!?

Let me just thank God my mom did not have a fracture. Now we are scheduled for an MRI this week and hope that goes a little more smoothly with a positive outcome as well.
