My first garden tomato

Today it finally happened.

I got my first garden tomato.

I have been planting tomatoes for ten years now and I have never been able to enjoy a fresh, organic tomato (darn squirrels).

Well today I went out into the garden to take a peek at my tomatoes (the only thing really left since the squirrels are eating everything else).

Low and behold under one of the vines there was a tiny red tomato. You know what... I picked it!



I was so excited that I brought it in, washed it, took a couple of pictures, cut it in half, and shared it with dear hunny bunny.

It was delicious!
